PERFORMER

Colin “illy” Hill is a world travelled, world class professional musician. As a performer, teacher, producer, and musical collaborator with over 40 years of experience, he is currently living and working in Phuket Thailand. Colin moved from touring the world with highly acclaimed international stars in original, tribute, and event bands to performing regularly on the island of Phuket.

His vast musical taste and stylings range from acoustic, easy listening to full on party band using his unique blend of crowd pleasing classic rock, blues, and soul. Colin’s brand of music is unparalleled in sound, repertoire, and professional application, emphasizing an organic, fluid quality that enthralls his audience, creating instant crowd favorites.

You’ll find him performing regularly throughout Thailand at special and corporate events, weddings, conventions, and conferences. He and his musical partner, Pjae Stanley, are the most well renowned artists in Thailand and S.E. Asia.

TEACHER / PRODUCER / MENTOR.

In addition to performing live, Colin is an excellent guitar & bass teacher and maintains a roster of diverse students who utilize his exceptional and patented guitar lesson system. He holds a Diploma of Teaching degree [Dip.T TTC] from Australia, which he uses to ensure his music lessons are of the highest quality and provides the greatest benefit to his students. Lessons are available for beginning players to advanced performers. In a very short period of time his students successfully advance from ‘learning’ to ‘playing’ the guitar.

Colin also manages and directs music projects such as demos and fully produced albums and CDs. He is a sought after teacher and mentor to students who wish to move their music to newer and higher levels of success.

Colin’s unique teaching methods are also available on DVD and downloadable formats for those wishing to learn at home or in another location. He uses only the highest quality equipment and musical instruments available. He is fully licensed to work in Thailand and brings a high level of professional excellence into everything he does.
